What better to way to open up the new Transformers section with the greatest Transformer of them all, the great Optimus Prime!
The MP-10 mold of Optimus Prime is without a doubt my favorite mold of this character ever. I have the original Takara MP-1 version also and to me this figure blows him away in every way. The MP-1 is still an amazing figure, but this figure is hands down the best version ever. He comes with his trailer, Roller, energon ax, blaster, matrix, and a Spike figure that fits in Prime himself or Roller, or even the 3 different seats in his trailer. I chose the Hasbro version for one simple reason, the eyes. I absolutely love the light blue eyes on the Hasbro version, to me the Takara version's eyes look like there's no life to them. It looks like a dead or sleeping version when compared to the Hasbro eyes.
